The thermostat is mounted to the wall in the main floor hallway. Feel free to adjust it as you see fit. Please let us know if you need assistance with controlling the temperature.

Checkout is at 11:00 to allow cleaners to turn the home over for other guests. If you would like to request a late checkout, please ask. We will be happy to accommodate if there are no new guests arriving that day. Before you go please take trash to outdoor receptacles, start dishwasher and place towels in bathtubs or showers. We’ll take care of the rest!

The kitchen should be stocked with almost everything you need. If you can’t find what you are looking for, please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate. Trash bags are underneath the sink in the kitchen. Some light cleaning supplies are also under the sink. The laundry is in the basement—please feel free to use it and reach out if you need any assistance with its operation.

Turn the power on using the TV remote. Make sure input is set to HDMI1. Once there, you will see all your favorite streaming apps. We provide a Hulu subscription where you can enjoy live TV.

We recommend Pick ‘n Save at 1735 W Silver Spring Rd (about a 5-minute drive).

Many of the groups we’ve hosted have taken advantage of having private chefs come in and prepare meals for them. We have relationships with reputable local chefs and can help coordinate private dinners if you’d like. Just reach out and ask!

“It was a awesome stay, in a great house. I really enjoyed myself there & would love to come back”

Thurston, Retro Riverside Retreat

“We will definitely be staying here again during our next visit! The home itself was beautifully decorated, felt homey, and was very clean. The game room was a hit with our kids. The backyard was full of fun amenities like a grill, a fire pit and a bench to sit on and relax by the river. The home was spacious and accommodated our party of 7 perfectly. The house is located near local shops like Target, Trader Joe’s and the infamous Kopps. Kevin was a super host, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Highly recommend staying here!”
