About the Property

1425 N. Prospect Ave. Milwaukee, WI 53202

There are two parking spaces in the driveway available for Prospect Mansion guests in spots marked with a 1 & 2. Depending on the size of your vehicle(s), up to four cars may fit here if pulled all the way up to the fence. Please be mindful of the guests who will need to access parking spaces 3 & 4. Please do not park at the end of the driveway close to the sidewalk for any amount of time.

Reminder that you will likely be sharing the home with other guests in the upper unit. The remainder of the vehicles can park on the street. Street parking can be difficult at times, especially in the evening. We recommend checking for night parking permits and snow emergency parking restrictions. You will need to register your vehicle via that link for overnight parking.

The thermostat is mounted to the wall in the foyer. Feel free to adjust it how you see fit. Please let us know if you need assistance with controlling the temperature.

Check out is at 11:00 to provide us time for the cleaners to turn the home over for other guests. If you would like to request a late checkout, please ask. If we don’t have new guests coming in, we would be happy to be flexible on check out. Before you go, please bring trash to outside bins, place damp or wet towels in shower or bathtub and start the dishwasher- we’ll take care of the rest!

The kitchen should be stocked with almost everything you would need. If you can’t find what you are looking for, please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate. Small appliances such as crockpot, blender, and toaster are located in the lower cabinets of the kitchen. Trash bags and light cleaning supplies can be found underneath the kitchen sink. The washer and dryer are located in the basement.

Turn the power on using the TV remote. Make sure input is set to HDMI1. Once there, you will see all your favorite streaming apps. We provide a Hulu subscription where you can enjoy live TV.

We’d recommend Metro Market (1123 N Van Buren). There’s also a Whole Foods on North Ave a few minutes’ drive away.

Many of the groups we’ve hosted have taken advantage of having private chefs come in and prepare meals for them. We have relationships with reputable local chefs and can help coordinate private dinners if you’d like. Just reach out and ask!

“Amazing House! We decided to take an unexpected trip to Milwaukee and needed a place with at least 5 bedrooms. At first, we thought the listing was too good to be true but decided to take the chance. It was just as advertised, simply beautiful. We highly recommended and will look to stay here if we ever come back to Milwaukee.”

John, Prospect Mansion & Gallery
