About the Property

This home is nestled into a quiet and quaint neighborhood in Milwaukee. We ask our guests to respect the neighbors and keep voices to a minimum during the day and ask them to not use the outdoor spaces after 9 PM. We do not allow any music or drinking games to be played in the outdoor space as well. We will levy a fine of $250 for guests that access the patio after 9PM.

We utilize the basement as a center of operations where we store supplies as well as maintain our laundry facility to support our multiple short-term rentals. Our cleaners and property manager come and go via a door under the front balcony in the alley, so they will never be upstairs in the living area.

The door to the basement stairway does have a lock on them. Though we endeavor to lock this prior to a guest arriving, just in case we missed it feel free to lock the door if you so please. These are swinging door flip locks. They look like two hinges on the right side of the door. You just lift, turn, and push back down and it locks the door. The master bedroom has a similar locking system.

One car can park in the carport right in front of the house. Absolutely no parking in the alley as you will be towed. Street parking should be ample. We recommend checking for night parking permits and snow emergency parking restrictions.

The thermostat is mounted to the wall in the first floor bedroom. Feel free to adjust it how you see fit. Please let us know if you need assistance with controlling the temperature.

Check out is at 11:00am. If you would like to request a late checkout, just ask! We’ll be happy to accommodate given there are no new guests arriving that same day. Before you go, please bring trash to outdoor bins, place damp or wet towels in bathtubs or showers and start the dishwasher. Leave the rest to us!

We take great pride in keeping our kitchens well appointed so you should have most everything you will need during your stay. However, if there is something more you would like, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate. Trash bags are in the pantry hanging from the door. This is also where you can find the crockpot and the Pizza Pizzazz. There is a blender to the right of the sink as well. Grilling tools are in the drawer to the left of the oven. Should you need them, there are light cleaning supplies below the kitchen sink.

Turn the power on using the TV remote. Make sure input is set to HDMI1. Once there, you will see all your favorite streaming apps. We provide a Hulu subscription where you can enjoy live TV.

There are several grocery stores nearby. Our favorites are Whole Foods (1.9mi), Metro Market (1.3mi) Fresh Thyme (.3mi) and Glorioso’s Italian Market (.5mi).
Many of the groups we’ve hosted have taken advantage of having private chefs come in and prepare meals for them. We have relationships with reputable local chefs and can help coordinate private dinners if you’d like. Just reach out and ask!

“Amazing House! We decided to take an unexpected trip to Milwaukee and needed a place with at least 5 bedrooms. At first, we thought the listing was too good to be true but decided to take the chance. It was just as advertised, simply beautiful. We highly recommended and will look to stay here if we ever come back to Milwaukee.”
