When you walk into the dining room, the Ecobee thermostat is mounted to the wall next to the door to the kitchen. Feel free to adjust it how you see fit. Please let us know if you need assistance with controlling the temperature.

Check out is at 11:00am. If you would like to request a late checkout, just ask! We’ll be happy to accommodate given there are no new guests arriving that same day. Before you go, please place towels in showers or bathtubs, remove trash and start the dishwasher. Leave the rest to us!

We take great pride in keeping our kitchens well appointed so you should have most everything you will need during your stay. However, if there is something more you would like, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate. Trash bags are underneath the sink in the kitchen and the small appliances are located in cabinet below coffee maker, as are the grilling tools. You will find the charcoal and lighter fluid in the galvanized bin next to the grill outside. Should you need them, there are light cleaning supplies in the basement stair hallway. The air mattress and linens can be found on the shelves of the second floor bathroom.

Laundry is in the basement. Please feel free to use it and reach out to us if you need any assistance with their operation.

Turn the power on using the TV remote. Make sure input is set to HDMI1. Once there, you will see all your favorite streaming apps. We provide a Hulu subscription where you can enjoy live TV. Note: the power button on the living room remote is a little tricky to find – it is near the top left corner of the remote.

We proudly offer free coffee from some of our favorite local Milwaukee roasters. Drink as much as you’d like. We have a few options to prepare. Instructions for each are in the drawer below the coffee.

There are several grocery stores nearby. Our favorites are Whole Foods (1.5mi), Metro Market (.3mi) Fresh Thyme (.3mi) and Glorioso’s Italian Market (.2mi).

Many of the groups we’ve hosted have taken advantage of having private chefs come in and prepare meals for them. We have relationships with reputable local chefs and can help coordinate private dinners if you’d like. Just reach out and ask!

“Amazing House! We decided to take an unexpected trip to Milwaukee and needed a place with at least 5 bedrooms. At first, we thought the listing was too good to be true but decided to take the chance. It was just as advertised, simply beautiful. We highly recommended and will look to stay here if we ever come back to Milwaukee.”
